We are proud to announce that ONLYOFFICE Documents 4.0 is now available on Google Play for free with native editors and viewers. We'd also like to thank our beta testers for their fair contribution.
After months of hard work on a big update and scrupulous testing we've released native editors and viewers for our Android app. They are all designed to work with local files and documents on a device and via WebDAV.
Document editor:
- Text editing and formatting.
- Inserting objects.
- Text search and replacement.
- Printing and export to different formats.
Spreadsheet editor:
- Advanced cells editing.
- Sorting and filtering in spreadsheets.
- Adding, deleting and renaming sheets.
- Inserting objects.
Presentation viewer:
- Viewing and printing of presentations.
We plan to enhance functionality of our native editors with numerous new features in the foreseeable future. So stay tuned not to miss the latest news!
As you probably remember, in the previous version of ONLYOFFICE Documents for Android we added support for connection to third-party clouds via WebDAV. With native editors you can open data in your Nextcloud, ownCloud or other storage not only for viewing, but for editing. Editing options for local files are available too.

Over the years, I've had a number of people come to me asking for help picking a word processor, spreadsheet, Office component or full suite. While MS Office is the defacto standard for word processing, spreadsheets and presentations, it IS rather expensive. It's an MS Office compatible free office suite and its available for multiple platforms.

It is available in many languages and works on all common computers. It stores all your data in a standard format and can also read and write files from other common office software packages, including Microsoft Office.
OpenOffice.org is easy to learn. If you've used Microsoft Office, or a similar set of tools, OpenOffice.org will be familiar and comfortable to you. Best of all, this Open Office Download can be used for free.

Some of your heavily formatted documents may be read and worked with under the OpenOffice component in question, but upon reediting in MS Office, the formatting of the information in the file may be corrupted, requiring a great deal of rework.
